Semin was born and grew up in Istanbul (Türkiye) and moved to the Netherlands for pursing her PhD studies in Public Administration. After she accomplished her work in the academic field in 2013, she followed her heart’s calling to start writing and to help women in their fertility, pregnancy, and birth journeys as a counselor and doula. In 2021, she embarked on her shamanic path by joining her first Siberian shamanic training in the Netherlands, which brought her shortly after to Shaman Ahamkara and his teachings. She completed his Internal Organ Massage and Shamanic Healer trainings and received her shamanic name Sky Mother in 2025. In 2026, she co-authored the book The Shamanic River of Life: A Journey into Siberian Shamanism with Ahamkara. Currently, she is a student and assistant of Ahamkara’s Shamanic Life Path training. As a shamanic practitioner, she offers internal organ massage and shamanic healing rituals around fertility and grief. She is also a passionate astrologer and stone oracle reader.
