I was born in Chile at the foot of the Andes. Like many Chileans I'm of mixed native blood, Mapuche and Chilean, a result of Spanish colonization. At the age of 23, in the late eighties, I moved to New York City in the USA and became a fashion designer reaching the pinnacle of success. I thought I had achieved everything, but inside I felt like a hamster running in a cage, and in reality I was going nowhere. I began to hear the mountains calling me and I felt a deep longing to drop everything and go back to Chile. When I arrived I developed a life threatening illness, lost my business, suffered bankruptcy, and my relationship of 17 years fell apart, leaving me deeply depressed. I had lost everything. However, I soon discovered it was the end and the beginning!

I began to walk the Red Thread and the Red Road back to my origins. I learned to live again in harmony with nature, listening to the Mountains, the Waters, the Winds, the Fire, and walk on earth the way my Ancestors did. I learned to live as if Heaven is on Earth. As part of my path I went up the mountain for Vision Quest which taught me the value of our limitless potential beyond what our minds believe! I became a Usui Reiki master, studied the Kaballah, Metaphysics, Tarot and Massotherapy. On the Red Road I became a Sun Dancer, studied with the Bolivian and Chilean Medicine Women and was a Fire Keeper for Sweat Lodge.

For the past 15 years I have studied with Doña Rosa Huenufil, a Mapuche Grandmother and Keeper of the Mapudungun, the language of the Earth and I have learned the Sacred art of the Prayer Woman or "Llellipufe." I have travelled to different parts of Mother Earth, journeying to sacred places such as Machu Picchu and Okinawa, Japan and participating in shamanic gatherings.
