Chief Iyanifa Fajembola Fatunmise, also known as Yeye Luisah Teish, is an American author of African and African-diaspora spiritual cultures, primarily known for her women’s spirituality classic, Jambalaya: The Natural Woman’s Book of Personal Charms and Practical Rituals. Yeye Teish is an international speaker, a poet and a contributor to 40 anthologies, most notably Spiritual Guidance Across Religions: A Sourcebook for Spiritual Directors and Other Professionals Providing Counsel to People of Differing Faith Traditions. As an Oshun Priestess, of the Ifa Spiritual Tradition, Yeye has officiated over spiritual retreats, rituals, and workshops for over forty years. An affluent ritualist, keynote speaker, and spiritual advisor on a global scale, Yeye Teish serves as a delegate of the Mother Earth Delegation of United Indigenous Nations. She sees her service as an Ambassador to Shamans Directory as one of the many ways that she can contribute to the unity and healing of our global community.
