Since 1996, the Tribal Trust Foundation has been identifying sustainable grass roots cultural preservation projects to support Indigenous people around the world. They partner with local organizations whose experience and existing relationships with specific tribes can sustain joint initiatives over the long-term to help preserve the living arts and traditional wisdom of Indigenous peoples. The focus is on capacity building and empowerment processes where communities are able to initiate the holistic change they wish to see manifested.

The Tribal Trust Foundation supports Indigenous causes directly, actively, and globally. They assist respected, dedicated Elders and Wisdom Keepers enabling them to continue their sacred work of promoting and preserving the world’s Indigenous wisdom and cultural traditions for the benefit of current and future generations. They also help Indigenous communities to improve cross-cultural communication, connecting, translating and sharing their ancient wisdom traditions. They further share stories and teachings of the Indigenous communities that carry the messages of the interconnectedness of all life, to remind us how to live in harmony with nature and each other.

Their global initiative has supported many wonderful and distinct cultures across this beautiful planet, including campaigning for the survival of the San Bushman, assisting cultural preservation of the Monpas in Bhutan and other projects in East Timor, Spain, Australia, Southern Africa. Their also work in the United States providing assistance to the Navajo, Chumash, Lakota, the Standing Rock Sioux Water Protectors, and other Water/Earth/Life advocates.
