My name is César Agustín Rivas, though many know me as Viejo. I was born in Pucallpa, Peru, and from a young age I was raised within the traditions of the Amazon. My father, don Agustín Rivas Vásquez, and my teacher, don Ramón Sánchez Rojas, guided my early learning and helped shape my path.

Over the years, I undertook the long and disciplined training of a curandero and ayahuasquero, working closely with many plant teachers through traditional dietas. In time, I was recognized as a maestro, and I now carry forward the healing work of my lineage.

I live and work at my camp, Supaychacra, near Tamshiyacu on the Amazon River, where I receive visitors and offer ceremonies, healing, and teachings. My work is grounded in a deep relationship with the plants, the land, and the wisdom passed down through generations.

I believe that true healing comes from within. My role is to help people reconnect with their own strength, restore balance, and awaken their natural capacity to heal.

While I have been invited to share this work in other countries, I remain a humble student of the jungle and its teachings. 🌿

Me llamo César Agustín Rivas, aunque muchos me conocen como Viejo. Nací en Pucallpa, Perú, y desde muy joven me crié en el seno de las tradiciones del Amazonas. Mi padre, don Agustín Rivas Vásquez, y mi maestro, don Ramón Sánchez Rojas, guiaron mis primeros pasos en el aprendizaje y me ayudaron a trazar mi camino.

A lo largo de los años, me sometí a la larga y disciplinada formación de curandero y ayahuasquero, trabajando en estrecha colaboración con muchas plantas maestras a través de las dietas tradicionales. Con el tiempo, fui reconocido como maestro y ahora continúo con la labor sanadora de mi linaje.

Vivo y trabajo en mi campamento, Supaychacra, cerca de Tamshiyacu, a orillas del río Amazonas, donde recibo visitantes y ofrezco ceremonias, sanaciones y enseñanzas. Mi trabajo se basa en una profunda relación con las plantas, la tierra y la sabiduría transmitida de generación en generación.

Creo que la verdadera sanación proviene del interior. Mi papel es ayudar a las personas a reconectarse con su propia fuerza, restablecer el equilibrio y despertar su capacidad natural para sanar.
