Orit's journey into energy healing began when she realized that contrary to her previous training as a physical therapist, true healing occurs at the level of the energy field which permeates the physical body.
She embarked on the path of energy medicine in 1997 with the Integrative Manual Therapy Association. In 2004 she began studies in CranioSacral Therapy with The Upledger Institute. She is a Certified CranioSacral therapist, a Certified Teaching Assistant with the Upledger Institute, and a Reiki Master practitioner.

​Orit's life shifted profoundly when she was introduced to the Munay-Ki, the nine initiation rites of the Inka lineage. That lead to studying shamanic healing with the Light Body School of The Four Winds Society, to receiving direct initiation transmissions from the Andean Q'ero Paqos of Peru, and to assisting Tomas Bostrom with the management and teachings of Shaman's Journey's workshops.

Orit is a full Andean Mesa carrier in the lineage of the Q'ero shamans of Peru, and a graduate of The Four Winds Society's Light Body School. She is also a Pachakuti Mesa Tradition carrier, and continues to study with renowned Peruvian Shamans.
She is dedicated to creating space for others to connect to their healed state by stepping onto the Shamanic path. Orit continues the legacy of her beloved Tomas by teaching and facilitating the programs offered by Shaman's journey, and
developing new programs. In addition, she offers integrative healing sessions utilizing Earth-Based Shamanic Medicine techniques such as Illumination, Extraction, Soul Retrieval, Cord Cutting, Chakra and Luminous Energy Field Cleansing, Despacho Ceremonies, advanced CranioSacral therapy and Reiki. She also hosts regular Munay-Ki gatherings in Agoura Hills, California, and trains Rite Bringers in the art of gifting these initiations.
