Judy Liu Ramsey is a shamanic practitioner with over 40 years of experience in counseling, teaching, and mentorship, holding an M.A. from the University of Michigan.
Judy studied for 2 years to become a shamanic teacher and is approved by Sandra Ingerman as an instructor for her courses. She is listed with shamanicteachers.com. Her 2-year practitioner program was done with Kate Durda and Stephanie Tighe, two of Sandra's teachers, as well as a one year intensive with Carla Meeske, 3 years of wind shamanism with Renee Baribeau, and mentoring/instruction from Betsy Bergstrom, Christina Pratt, Alberto Villoldo, Tom Cowan and others.
Judy is a member of the Society for Shamanic Practice, and was ordained as an animal chaplain through the Compassion Consortium. She follows the code of ethics of shamanic practitioners, as established by the Society for Shamanic Practice, animal communicators, of animal communicators as established by Penelope Smith, and of her own chaplaincy practice.
Co-creating closely with her spirit guides and power animals, who remain her primary inspiration and support, Judy offers one-on-one shamanic healing and consultation, course development, teaching and hands-on practice in shamanic healing for people and for animals, including shamanic animal communication. Her mission is to help the species live in peace with each other, to understand each other’s needs, and to be connected to a common life together that will help each one thrive.
While she works with and supports both people and animals shamanically, her primary focus is to support animals and interspecies relationships, domestic and wild. Judy has also been a professional animal communicator for 18 years, and is an ordained animal chaplain.Currently, she lives on her beautiful farm in Michigan with her cat Ernie, her Labrador Retriever Stitch, beloved trees and vines, and lots of Hidden Folk.
