In the Andean mystical traditions, the number seven holds profound sacred significance. While four represents the cardinal directions of the Chakana and Tawantin, seven reveals a deeper energetic layer of existence. Known as Qanchis in Quechua, this sacred number is reflected throughout both the natural and spiritual worlds — in the stars, the balance of masculine and feminine forces, the mountains and waters, the rainbow’s rays, the inner layers of Pachamama, the human energy centers, and the cycle of seven days.

Following our deeply enriching course with Pampamesayoq and ceremonialist Master Wilbert Salas Atasi, it became clear there is more to share. With a shared devotion for the Andean cosmology and living ancestral traditions, Wilbert and Mayumi are honored to present this new Shamans Directory teaching series The Sacred Number Seven in Andean Cosmology. For those called to walk the path of Andean cosmology and living ancestral traditions, these teachings offer an opportunity to deepen both understanding and embodied practice.

We are also deeply honored to welcome esteemed Kurak Aqulleq (elder) Don Mariano Quispe Flores as a guest teacher. Now in his mid-eighties, he carries a lifetime of wisdom rooted in the living Q’eros traditions. His presence embodies love, vitality, and profound knowledge, bringing connection and inspiration wherever he goes.

Qanchis Llimphymam K’uichi — the seven rays of the rainbow

This journey invites deep learning and connection with the spirit allies of Andean cosmology, as well as in your own landscape, supporting personal integration, healing work, and ceremonial practice.

Whether you are new or experienced, you are warmly invited. No prior training or Mesa is required— only an open heart and sincere curiosity. Live sessions will be supported by Mayumi, with recordings available for those who cannot attend in real time.
