Shamans Directory Ambassador and Member Crow (John) MacKinnon invites you to travel with him to the Amazon Rainforest for an intensive experiential program with don Cesar Agustin Rivas (Viejo), and doña Andrea Marques (Nina Caspi), where you will learn about the traditional healing and visionary plant medicines of the jungle amid the sights and sounds of the most important ecosystem in the world.

Crow is the founder of Shamanic Voyages, a non-profit organization that provides educational programs, trainings, workshops, and travel experiences to shamanic cultures worldwide. He has been involved with shamanism since the mid 1970's, and has been a member of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies since the mid 1990's. Crow completed advanced training offered by the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and is a Harner Shamanic Counselor.

Throughout his travels he has worked with shamans in North, South and Central America, as well as Asia. His teaching practice is primarily that of Core Shamanism, but has been influenced by his exposure to a variety of other shamanic cultures and initiations. Crow includes sweat lodges, drumming workshops and healing services in his shamanic practice. When he is not traveling the world, he is also a creative artist, producing shamanic tools such as natural hide hand drums, rattles and smudge fans.
