Africa Amini Alama is a non-profit organization operating in one of the most remote areas of Tanzania. Located in Momella, Arusha (Maasai and Meru country) at 1550 meters, their services stretch between Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. Africa Amini works in full cooperation with the Maasai community, where many families still live as herders traditionally on the land. Their incredible programs provide health care for thousands of individuals and families, and education for thousands more primary and secondary aged school children across the region.

Together, with her colleague and Traditional Maasai Elder Lesse Lazier, they strive to preserve the beauty of their natural ways of life, culture, and wisdom traditions while ensuring quality health care and economic security for future generations.
