It is our pleasure to invite you to a powerful Live Online Event with Shaman’s Directory Ambassador Rakel Sanímuinaq, Inuit Angakkuq (shaman), healer, and wisdom keeper. First voicing her destiny at the age of four, Rakel’s teachings arise directly from her ancestral line, her lived experience, and the Spirit helpers who have guided her since childhood. Many will recognize her from The Eternal Song film, where her clarity and depth illuminate the ancient shamanic ways of the Inuit.

For this gathering, Rakel will offer a powerful teaching, little known to those outside of her tradition: Making the Darkness Your Home.

In the Arctic, darkness is not merely a season, it is a teacher. Inuit shamans learn to enter the vast inner landscape of the subconscious, to sit within it, and to become at ease there. Rakel explains that this inner darkness is not something to fear, but a place to become deeply familiar with, a place to inhabit with courage and tenderness.

“When you make the darkness within you your home,” she teaches, “you become peaceful in your life, and that peace becomes a medicine you can bring to others.” This is central to the shamanic path and essential to true healing.
